Verses on COVID-19
In matters of contagion,
How far one’s threat extends!
One droplet can endanger
One’s friends of friends of friends.
We must not grow complacent,
We few who understand–
But stand and fight for safety
For the others in our land.A man who thinks that vaccines
Will freeze his child’s heart,
Or dines inside with strangers
While just three feet apart,
Imperils countless others
You’ve a duty to protect–
Take up the Right Man’s burden
And outlaw his neglect.
(With apologies to Kipling.)
